Strong ideas often emerge long before there is structure, funding, or a team to support them. Yet in many innovation pipelines, those early ideas are asked to become proposals too soon, limiting exploration and creativity.

DEEP Ideation is designed to change that.

The Agentic AI Ideation Challenge, now open from December 17 to December 29, invites the community to submit early-stage ideas focused on Agentic AI, systems that operate autonomously, pursue goals, plan and reason through complex tasks, adapt to changing conditions, and utilize tools and external resources.

This challenge is intentionally positioned at the idea level, not the proposal level. Participants are encouraged to focus on clarity of thought, originality, and the central role of agentic properties in their ideas, without the pressure of execution plans or budgets.

The challenge is open to anyone in the DEEP and broader AI community.

Selected ideas will be spotlighted and may unlock future pathways through Deep Funding, including RFPs, hackathons, funding rounds, experimental labs, or other downstream instruments.

Importantly, ideas are not locked into a single outcome; multiple paths remain open after ideation.

This initiative marks the first step in a broader DEEP Ideation strategy, strengthening the innovation pipeline by giving ideas the space they need before becoming projects.
