BGI Istanbul gave us a glimpse.

The energy came through in every conversation.For three intense days (21 to 23 October), we shared ideas that challenged the familiar and formed connections that made new futures feel possible.

As we reflect on the BGI Nexus Event in Istanbul, it becomes clear how much it brought together brilliant builders, researchers and visionaries from around the world, all united by a shared mission to shape the future of decentralized and beneficial AI.

Over three days of talks and collaborative sessions, participants explored new architectures, governance models and technological frontiers, creating an environment where bold ideas and practical insights met.

Where Ideas Meet Opportunity: 

• The sparks of recognition when someone realized that yes, they can build here.
• The hallway conversations where ideas turned into prototypes, and prototypes into future Deep Funding proposals.
• The developers who approached us saying, “I didn’t know opportunities like this existed. Now I want to contribute.”
• The shared belief that innovation should be accessible, not gated, a belief that lies at the core of the Deep Funding mission.
• And the sense that what we are building extends far beyond a single event. It is a growing ecosystem where anyone, anywhere, can create AI that benefits all.
