If I had full agency and sufficient resources within the Deep Funding program, the first thing I would improve is the accessibility and inclusivity of the application and onboarding process, especially for non-technical innovators and individuals from underrepresented regions or backgrounds. While Deep Funding supports bold, visionary ideas, I believe there’s an opportunity to simplify how people engage with the process — from understanding proposal requirements to navigating governance structures. I would develop a clearer support system that includes: Localized onboarding materials in multiple languages Mentorship or pairing programs connecting new applicants with experienced community members Interactive proposal-building workshops to help participants translate ideas into fundable solutions This would not only democratize participation but also diversify the pipeline of innovation, encouraging fresh perspectives and ideas that might otherwise remain untapped.
