As 2025 comes to a close, we’re taking a moment to reflect on a year that shaped Deep Funding into something stronger, clearer, and more connected than ever before.
Deep Funding (DF) was created to support decentralized, beneficial AI through community-driven funding, open ideation, and builder-first incentives. In 2025, that vision moved from intention to execution. Across funding rounds, ideation challenges, hackathons, town halls, X Spaces, and partnerships, the Deep Funding ecosystem grew and not just in numbers, but in trust, participation, and real output.

Instead of forcing early concepts into full proposals, DF invested in structured ideation — letting the community help shape what should be built next.

By December, DF reached Town Hall #76, a bi-weekly rhythm that became a reliable space for:

In 2025, Deep Funding didn’t just fund ideas; it helped build them.
DEEP Lab emerged as a fast-moving AI and development lab focused on rapid prototyping, MVPs, and real deployments. It became the place where ideas could move quickly from concept to working product, shortening the distance between imagination and impact.
Since launching in June 2025, DEEP Lab has grown into an active, execution-focused environment powered by small, focused pods working in parallel.
By the end of the year, DEEP Lab had achieved:
Rather than long cycles and heavy overhead, DEEP Lab emphasized speed, learning, and iteration. Ideas entered the lab, were stress-tested quickly, and either evolved into usable tools or informed better next steps.
One clear example of DEEP Lab’s execution speed is the BGI Events App.
Built by a 4-person pod, the app went from idea to completed MVP in just a few weeks to support the Beneficial AGI Summit 2025. It enabled event coordination, attendee networking, real-time updates, AI-assisted engagement and now serves as a reusable foundation for future community-driven events.
This is what DEEP Lab is designed to do: small teams, fast cycles, and practical tools that solve real problems.
