Structure
As Deep Funding grows into a vibrant ecosystem of 90+ Circle members, hundreds of proposers, and funded teams, decision-making has become both more complex and more crucial. The Governance and Decision Making Workgroup was created to explore, refine, and experiment with new models of decentralized governance that balance inclusivity, efficiency, and quality.
Mapping decision-making across circles to identify friction points and opportunities.
Exploring governance models from DAO tools to human-centered approaches like Teal organizations and hybrid systems.
Assessing decision types to understand how effectively and quickly they are made, and where improvements can be introduced.
Aligning operations with strategy, ensuring Deep Funding’s decision-making structures serve its long-term goals.
Experimenting with new approaches, testing and refining methods that enhance inclusivity while preserving efficiency.
We aim to create a governance framework where every member of Deep Funding has agency whether that means participating actively in decisions or trusting the system to move forward on their behalf. Ultimately, this workgroup is about finding the right balance: enabling scale without losing the collaborative spirit that makes Deep Funding unique.
