Summary

This Deep Funding All Hands session focused on a major strategic transition toward deeper alignment with the ASI (Artificial Superintelligence) ecosystem, particularly the evolving ASI tech stack, including Hyperon and ASI Chain. The ecosystem is emerging from a turbulent period and entering an intermediate phase characterized by rapid technical progress, increasing opportunities for integration, and a shift in organizational priorities.

A key strategic decision highlighted was the temporary reduction in broad funding activities (RFPs and rounds) in favor of community building, developer engagement, and educational initiatives. This reflects the need to prepare the ecosystem for the upcoming ASI Chain mainnet and to ensure contributors can effectively understand and build on the evolving technologies. Emphasis was placed on creating accessible learning materials, hosting peer-to-peer educational sessions, supporting hackathons, and potentially establishing developer-focused hubs.

Operationally, Deep Funding is expected to transition into a more execution-driven, project-oriented model, moving away from predominantly hourly-based contributions toward structured, outcome-based projects. This shift also introduces opportunities such as “operations as a service”, where Deep Funding may support both internal and external partners—including SingularityNET—through coordinated delivery across marketing, development, and community functions.

Strategic goals were refined to prioritize: (1) supporting the ASI tech stack, (2) building a targeted community of developers, (3) evolving Deep Funding into a multi-tenant platform for external partners, and (4) strengthening operational excellence and service delivery. Additionally, a performance-based incentive model is being explored to reward contributors for generating leads and securing partnerships.

However, the session acknowledged significant uncertainty in organizational structure and planning for 2026, with guidance for circles to focus on reporting past performance rather than prematurely defining future strategies. Contributors were encouraged to align their thinking with the ASI direction and explore how their work can be packaged into collaborative, cross-circle projects.

Overall, the ecosystem is entering a lean, adaptive phase, balancing short-term constraints with long-term opportunities to position Deep Funding as a central hub for ASI-aligned development, collaboration, and innovation.
